The centre aims to create an interdisciplinary platform to research and engage with emerging economies and analyse their impact on the wider global economy. We partner with British and International organisations who engage with emerging economies through the delivery of cutting-edge consultancy services. We also work with other world-leading institutions in order to produce valuable research with demonstrable impact. We have particular area specialisms in China, Nigeria, and Central Asia. The research of our members focuses on the key themes of global value chains, multinational firms and international business, economic and social resilience, emerging economy tourism, alternative development pathways.
